PRECONDITION: TO BE REGISTERED IN A WHOLESALE ELECTRICITY MARKET REGISTER & TO BE A BALANCING RESPONSIBLE PARTY (BRP) OR TO DELEGATE THE BALANCING RESPONSIBILITY TO ANOTHER BRP

Registration procedure for DAM

1. Submit the application form with a copy of your issued license and Registration certificate issued by the Central Registry
2. After the verification of the documentation by MEMO, you will receive a notice of admission to the organized market with a completed model contract and an invoice for admission. The signed contract should be delivered to MEMO in 4 copies.
3. Welcome to the organized electricity market

Additional tools needed for active trading:

• Based on your trading plans you will be asked for collaterals in a form of bank guarantees or cash deposits.
• If your traders have any certification issued by the market that uses the EPEX Spot trading platform they will be certified to a MEMO DAM. Otherwise, training and examination will be carried out by MEMO. Training and examination are free of charge for our members.
• To access the clearing portal, you will need a digital certificate issued by the Certificate Authority.
• You will be provided with the Rules and regulations of the MEMO Organized Electricity Market, additional manuals, and installation of the ETS Client needed for trading on a DAM.
