DAY AHEAD AUCTION WITH DELIVERY ON THE MACEDONIAN CONTROL AREA

UNDERLYING:

Electricity traded for delivery the following day in 24-hour intervals.

PLACE OF DELIVERY:

Deliveries are made within the Macedonian electricity market.

ORDER BOOK OPENING HOURS:

Starting from (45) forty-five days before Delivery Day, 24 hrs. per day,7 days a week, year-round.

ORDER BOOK CLOSES:

Daily at 10:35 AM

PUBLICATION TIME

The auction results are published as soon as they are available from 10:45.

ORDER TYPES

Piecewise
Orders contain up to 256 price/quantity combinations for each hour of the following day. Prices must be between 0.1 EURO/MWh and 1000 EURO/MWh. A volume – whether positive, negative, or null – must be entered at the price limits.

PRODUCTS

• Unlimited Single-Contract Orders.
• Limited Single-Contract Orders

VOLUME TICK:

The minimum volume increment is 0.1 MW.

PRICE TICK:

The minimum price increment is Euro 0.01 per  MWh.

MAXIMAL PRICE:

1000 Euro

MINIMAL PRICE:

0,1 Euro

PRICE CHARACTERISTICS

In Euro per MWh with 2 (two) decimal points

VOLUME CHARACTERISTICS

In MW with 1 (one) decimal point

SPECIAL CASE:

A full 25-hour Excel template is needed when the clocks are set to wintertime. Hour 3 and 3X can contain different values. When the time is switched to summertime the system automatically deletes the exceeding quantities for hour 3 (i.e. 2.00 am to 3.00 am).
