The Macedonian organized electricity market will be implemented and managed by the National Electricity Market Operator -MEMO DOOEL-Skopje. At the beginning, the organized electricity market will take place within the borders of the country until the first market coupling, i.e. the first market coupling with one of the neighboring organized electricity markets
All participants in the wholesale electricity market, who are registered on the electricity market in North Macedonia managed by MEMO DOOEL-Skopje as the market operator, will be eligible to join the and to perform activities on the organized electricity market in the day ahead segment.
